Chelsea has been working in almost every aspect of the boutique retail industry for over six years. She has experience in retail sales, merchandising, buying and marketing, but one of her most rewarding endeavors has always been personal styling.

“My favorite thing as a stylist usually includes that moment when my clients break through a style block and open up a whole new world of options for themselves. I’ll admit, sometimes it takes some coaxing, but the result is thrilling for both the client and myself.”

Chelsea feels the styling work she’s done on national and regional photo shoots and for fashion shows has helped hone her skills for personal styling and shopping. Often times in those scenarios she is showcasing a particular product or look, and she has to get very creative very fast to make everything gel and tell a story without words. She loves bringing that skill to her clients for their everyday lives and showing them how to rethink their wardrobes and accessories.

“I love a challenge! For example, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve shown clients a piece they think is too dressy for their lifestyle and they ask me where on earth they would ever wear it. Um, the grocery store! And then, to their amazement, I can show them how to wear the piece in a totally unexpected way that works for their particular lifestyle.”
